Introduction

This interactive webinar course is designed to increase the confidence and skills of individual professionals to improve outcomes for LGBTIQ+ colleagues and clients through the practical application of knowledge gained from the foundational course True Colours: Introduction to LGBTIQ+ Inclusive Practice.

Who's it for?

This workshop has been developed by Rainbow Health Australia to support organisations working towards LGBTIQ+ inclusive practice and seeking to create safe, welcoming services.

Course objectives

  • Develop skills to reflect critically on own practice in relation to LGBTIQ+ inclusivity.
  • Develop an applied understanding of LGBTIQ+ affirming practice at an individual, interpersonal level.
  • Understand individual practice improvements in the context of overarching organisational standards and strategies.
  • Identify actions at an individual level to promote LGBTIQ+ affirming practice.
  • Identify actions to advocate for organisational change.
